Tennessee Real Estate Commission

Created in 1951, The Tennessee Real Estate Commission (TREC) licenses and registers Real Estate Firms, Brokers and Affiliate Brokers. The Commission also enacts rules addressing professional conduct and standards of practice. 

The Williamson County Association of REALTORS® is an approved real estate school by TREC and abides by all regulations set forth by the commission when offering courses. WCAR works in conjunction with the Tenneessee Association of REALTORS® to ensure that members' concerns are communicated with TREC and that REALTORS® have a voice in pending regulations and enforcement of rules.
