Become a REALTOR®

REALTORS® must hold an active real estate license. To be a REALTOR® member of the Williamson County Association of REALTORS® you need an active license in the State of Tennessee, issued by the Tennessee Real Estate Commission (TREC). If you are interested in taking the license exam, you must first complete 60 hours of approved education at an approved real estate school. Additional requirements can be viewed in this pdf document.

There are several schools in the area with flexible schedules. Check your local yellow pages or the TREC web site to locate a school near you.

After selecting a firm to join and preparing the required forms, you will apply to the state for your license and then apply for membership at WCAR. Joining WCAR also provides membership in the Tennessee Association of REALTORS® and the National Association of REALTORS®.
