WCAR has over 1,650 members and this is the premier event each year where the members gather and meet vendors who support transactions and supply products and services to assist REALTORS. Real Life Problems, Property Condition Disclosures
Instructor: Brian Smith, of Smith, Sholar and Associates
Discuss real life problems on the different situations that surround property conditions. See what can be done through legal channels and find out what is the best way to solve them.
Thursday, September 4, 2008, from 9:00am – 11:00am, at the Cool Springs Marriott. Class is free for members and $40 for non-members, and is approved for 2 hours TREC.
TREC Core Course
Instructor: Marty Calfee
This 4-hours course is required by the Tennessee Real Estate Commission for license renewal. Topics covered include ethics, the responsibilities of principal brokers, the challenges and opportunities of team structures, and the disclosures required in commercial transactions. Review of case studies, real life scenarios, and stories will be used to give you insight on how to communicate and solve common challenges that are encountered, while abiding by the Code of Ethics, Tennessee’s license law (including agency law) and the rules of the Tennessee Real Estate Commission.
1:15pm - 5:15pm, at the Cool Springs Marriott. Class is $40 for members and $50 for non-members and is approved for 4 hours of TREC credit.
