Bill Burrow, senior vice president of national sales development for Jackson, would be pleased to make a presentation to your members. With over 16 years of financial services experience, Mr. Burrow travels the country sharing with investment professionals and retail investors the story of a book that Jackson recently sponsored called, Retirementology: Rethinking the American Dream in a New Economy. Mr. Burrow can tailor his Retirementology presentation to your association, highlighting the effects of the financial crisis on the real estate market.
Retirementology examines retirement planning through the lens of investor psychology, against the backdrop of the worst market crash since the Great Depression. Retirementology proposes an entirely new way to think about how we spend and save money. By showing investors how emotions can lead to irrational behavior and bad habits, Retirementology examines how Americans can break the dangerous cycle of overspending and rising debt that helped contribute to both the financial crisis and the housing bubble.
