Awards

WCAR offers four awards annually to REALTOR® members that exhibit exceptional traits related to scholastic achievement, association involvement, and community outreach efforts. Awards are presented at the Installation Luncheon each year in November.

To apply for or nominate someone for the following awards, please submit your applications to Theresa Wilson by October 10, 2007.

 

John M. Green Excellence in Achievement Award

Named after John M. Green, Jr. the founder of John Green REALTORS® and the original Boy Scout. John’s service to the real estate industry in Williamson County, WCAR, and his community is commendable and an award in his honor is provided to a REALTOR® member who exhibits these traits for the benefit of the industry and community.

Involvement Award

This award recognizes a member’s contributions to WCAR though their activity in Association events. Applicants can complete the form and their attendance records will be checked against the Association’s registration records.

Education Award

The award recognizes those who go above and beyond to keep themselves educated and informed in the real estate industry. The award is based upon courses taken through the Association and at outside schools.

REALTOR® of the YEAR 

To give recognition to the perseverance of the REALTOR® effort and work expended in the interest of fellow REALTORS®, their profession and our REALTOR® organization and their communities; to turn the spotlight of publicity on the work of REALTORS® in advancing their profession and their communities. To nominate an individual, send the nominee's name and firm name to Theresa Wilson. Deadline for nomination is October 1, 2007.
