Purchase and Sale Agreements That Pack A Punch

This class will focus on residential property transactions. Each step of the transaction will be discussed; with a strong focus on the Purchase and Sale Agreement (F9). A property will be used as an illustration and details of the property will be used, including the Tax Records and other public information. Each line of the Purchase and Sale Agreement will be reviewed and discussed as to the content that should be provided in order to best represent the interests of the parties of the transaction to eliminate confusion, gray areas and challenges. A discussion about the appropriate uses of the counter offer TAR forms and procedures will also be provided. Students will leave with a greater understanding of Tennessee Agency Law, negotiation skills and best practices.
