"Williamson County’s 2006 real estate market brought several new-comers to our area. As 2007 progresses, the market is returning to levels experienced during 2005; which was one of the best years in the County’s market. Williamson County continues to attract market rates for their sought after properties. The County also has had an increase in the availability of several styles of condominiums communities, which is reflected in the increased number of listings available for several price points having an affect on the median price. Following the trends, the closings for the month follow the same pattern consistently. The month of May should be a stronger increase in closings as the real estate “season” gets underway. Now is a great time for buyers and sellers to explore their options.” said Susan McKinney, 2007 President of the Williamson County Association of REALTORS®.
